To create a more distinct twist in your steak, you can add unsalted butter or rosemary to your dish. You can add flavor to your steak in so many ways and it is up to you whether you want to experiment on your dish.

If you are still unsure, you can use the thermometer to check for the temperature of your steak. Cover the steak with an aluminum foil to prevent heat loss from the steak.
